Australian Open Bowls Festival
Australian Open Bowls Festival is one of the world’s best lawn bowls events that has made its home on the Gold Coast since 2015.
With over 4500 matches held each year, it’s simply not to be missed for lawn bowls fans across the country.
This year’s Australian Open Bowls is all set to be another knockout tournament (literally), comprising Singles, Pairs and Fours for men and women, culminating in high-stakes quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.
Other events include Over 60s Men’s and Women’s Pairs, Vision Impaired Pairs, Bowlers with a Disability Singles and Pairs, plus Under 18 Boy’s and Girl’s Singles.
The prize purse this year is a jaw-dropping $275,000.
Matches will take place daily over two thrilling weeks, staged at 13 top Gold Coast bowls clubs in Broadbeach, Burleigh Heads, Robina, Mermaid Beach, Southport, Coolangatta and more.
All in all, it’s the ultimate lawn bowls event for bowls fans and players.
