Festival of Film, Music and Dance
If you love film, head to the coast this April for the 2019 Festival of Film, Music and Dance taking place in conjunction with the 2019 Gold Coast Film Festival.
Held each year, the Gold Coast Film Festival offers movie-lovers and cinephiles the chance to celebrate film next to the beach with a fantastic program of outdoor movie screenings, filmmaking workshops and other fun film-related events. This year, the Festival of Film, Music and Dance will come to Surfers Paradise for two days and, as well as a packed program of live music and dance, it’ll be bringing with it the ever-popular SIPFest.
SIPFest Short Film Festival 2019 will host an evening of handpicked short films on Surfers Paradise Beach, produced by both up-and-coming filmmakers in Australia as well as filmmakers from around the world. Make sure to bring a picnic blanket and a few snacks as there’ll be 14 short films to enjoy next to the beach and under the stars – all of a variety of genres that can be enjoyed by movie-lovers of all ages.

In May, Surfers Paradise LIVE makes its return with another incredible four-day and four-night lineup of well-known music artists from all over Australia.
